Hidden behind the village of Isola is an abandoned valley that hardly anyone knows…the Val Fedoz. Away from the many tourists, this is a valley where alpine marmots happily live. During this trip we carefully look for Murmi, who has lived there for years. And during our search you will learn all about him and his family.
Nowadays people walk for recreation through the mountains. But once the mountains around Maloja were the domain of smugglers. They transported coffee, salt and tobacco over the Murettopas to and from Italy. On this trip we follow the old smuggling paths to Lägh da Cavloc, a mountain lake perfect for swimming.
The climb of Piz Cam is a true highlight of Bergell. Through the remote valleys of Val Maroz and Val Cam, where we have a chance to see ibexes and chamois, we climb higher and higher. To be rewarded on the top, the balcony, with a phenomenal view.

A beautifully varied tour, which offers breathtaking views with only limited vertical meters. We gather at 9 o’clock at Maloja Post, after which we walk via Isola to the idyllic Val Fex through larch forests full of alpine roses. We will bring our own lunch and use it in Sils, where Friedrich Nietzsche has lived (and walked) for years.

The panorama walk through Bergell shows you everything that makes this valley so beautiful on a single walk. We start in a typical alpine environment, but during the day we see the pine trees make way for lush chestnut trees and behind each turn a new view reveals itself, the one even more beautiful than the other.
